When you move 5,437 miles around the world, the destinations you get to consider for your winter holiday get more interesting. They get more exciting. Mostly because they are destinations I never thought I'd be considering for one reason or another.
Of course in the beginning stages of planning, we were all about shortest flight time and least time zones crossed. We did not fall in love with the options closest to London as the temperatures would not get as warm as we would have liked.
So we began to look on the other side of Africa. Near India. We've never traveled this far east!
Hello gorgeous!
10 hour flight plus 40 minute seaplane flight.
5 time zones crossed.
Average temperature in February 82.
Water temperature 82.
February is the driest and sunniest month of the year.
We decided to go big to get to an amazing destination in the Indian Ocean.
Maldives here we come!
One of the main reasons we had wanted to move to London was to be able to travel. Davis and I love to travel and have been on some seriously amazing trips since we've been together for a whopping 16 years.
So here's to this adventure little miss M!
Looking forward to sharing our adventures in the Maldives with you all!
(Now please send us some good M sleeps on the flight vibes!)
Cheers!
Kelley
