Five on Friday

ONE
My Dad arrived on Tuesday from Colorado to spend a week with us here in London. We've had 3 beautiful yet chilly days, and we've been exploring/spending as much time outside as possible. M loves playing with Opa, as she named him early on. They've been playing a lot of stair golf. That's right, hitting her wooden golf balls down from the top floor all the way down to the kitchen. Apparently she got those golf genes that run pretty deep in my family. But she sure is having a ball (no pun intended) so what the heck! And it keeps her busy, having fun which gives me a chance to get some things done around the house. Thank you Opa!

TWO
One of the things I somewhat collect are coffee mugs. I usually only grab them when we are traveling so not to become a crazy coffee mug hoarder. I saw this one in Anthropologie and just had to have it because I really do love London.

THREE

I've added a few spring items to my wardrobe this week and since we've had some delightful almost spring weather I cannot wait to wear them.

FOUR
Pretty much everything seems to be under construction in London all year round. This scaffolding and enormous tarp popped up in the last few weeks and the demolition is really loud. It seems they are redoing the entire building and the building is an entire block. Kind of a big project, much to my dismay...

We renewed the terms of our lease last month and were not briefed about these guys moving in. The way things are done around here, it seems we should have been told about the project. After all, one of the properties we chose to not move into last April was supposed to have major construction next door so we moved into our current property. I've enquired with our agent to see if the contsruction was something we should have known about. Fortunately M's naps have not been disrupted by the noise but I'm hoping to get something out of this loud un-neighborly situation.

FIVE
I'm eying these bags as most of mine are gigantic and when walking around the city with a toddler in tow, a huge bag is not ideal. The cross body style is handy when out and about with M in the buggy or playing at the park.

Hope you all have a beautiful weekend! We will be playing tourist with Opa.

Oh and this Sunday the UK celebrates Mother's Day so Happy Mother's Day to all of the mums! I fully plan on doing a little celebrating of both UK and US Mother's Day because why not?!

Cheers!
Kelley
