Five on (TGI) Friday

Hi!
Back for my first 5 on Friday for 2015. It's taken me a bit too long to get back into the swing of things after the holiday.

ONE

We started the New Year with a cleanse along with most of world. Davis purchased a 3 day cleanse but I was pretty sure 3 days were not gonna happen. So I decided to go along for the fun and did one of his 3 days. After all, the juices looked pretty yummy. I was only scared of the cayenne pepper one, rightfully so.

I was pretty much the most miserable I've ever been. I was grouchy. I was not nice to be around. I like food far too much to do that again. I was SO hungry and all I could do was think about what I wanted to eat. All American food that I would not have been able to have anyway- Jersey Mikes, In-N-Out, the burger at Father's Office...

TWO
Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I'm a real sucker for the Hallmark holiday. I've been perusing Pinterest and found a few super cute ideas for M's little friends.

THREE

We started back up with swim lessons and this time, M has to do it all by herself without Daddy in the pool. Luckily we have the same sweet teacher who has really worked well with M's personality. We were really not sure how our first session solo would go BUT with a little bribe of ice cream after a successful swim, she's done 2 weeks all by herself! We are pretty proud of her as this is a big deal for this kiddo. I hope she was just as proud of herself.

So with 2 weeks of success, we had to get the official swim cap and goggles. Future Olympian right here. Game face my friends. 

FOUR

 

It's super hard to get up in the morning when I am all cozy in bed to get this guy out for a walk. I hear the rain or wind and I just want to snuggle in. But once I get my act together these early walks with Hyde are becoming my favorite. Just me and Hyde. There is something so peaceful about the neighborhood before the business of the day begins.

FIVE
Have you met Pearl the Pig? I just started following livesweetphotography on Instagram and beware Pearl might just be the cutest thing you ever did see. Pretty much want one of these 'lil cuties around the house. Pretty sure she'd fit right in. Hey, M will be 3 soon so maybe we will get her a teacup pig instead of a bike. I'm kidding...only slightly.

Along with other accounts like northwestmommy and mommasgonecity, I just adore beautiful photography with animals and their little people.

This weekend Davis turns another thirty number so I have a few fun things up my sleeve to celebrate. Happy birthday so my sweet hubbie! I LOVE YOU!
