Happy Friday friends! We've survived another long week with daddy traveling- the second time in a month. He gets back tomorrow and the three of us are so very excited to have him back! Madeline will have her beloved daddy breakfasts back, I will have my coffee made by daddy back and Hyde will see a few more walks since I don't do rain, walk, toddler and dog in one sentence.
ONE
Meet Felicity. I saw this post about Kindness Elves and decided I much preferred this over Elf on the Shelf. The teacher in me fell in love with the idea. When I went to the awesome Renegade Craft Fair in London with my friend Erin a few weeks ago I was on the hunt for a little someone to become our Kindness Elf. I saw this adorable Peach Plot mouse made with beautiful recycled and vintage materials. I knew she'd make the perfect Kindness Mouse! Felicity has been helping me around the house, leaving little things for M and spreading kindness like crumbs around the house as we count down the days until Christmas.
TWO
These two playing is the best. Hyde loves his tennis balls and Madeline loves throwing them to him. Most of her throws also include a little jump as well- its pretty cute. She kind of treats him like a little brother so we are working on that part.
THREE
It's official. I've started taking capsules of sunshine- Vitamin D. I grew up in Colorado where there are over 300 days of sunshine per year. Then from Colorado to California where the sun is warm and delightful almost always. I like the sun. Who doesn't? And since we don't see it very much anymore, my spirits may have started to dwindle. My sunglasses must wonder what has happened- they've been stuffed in a drawer for weeks. But we are determined to find a week of sun this winter and head somewhere warmer...location TBD. Stay tuned!
FOUR
I do miss seeing certain U.S. commercials this time of year- you know the ones you remember year after year or the ones that make you (or maybe it's just me) cry. Here is one from one of the department stores here in London that is pretty sweet. And yes, I cried.
FIVE
I've been finding a lot of random activities on Pinterest for M and I to do while we spend so much time inside. I stumbled upon this artist's website where he has adorable paper cities and other printable toys for creative play. Just print. Cut. Fold. Easy Peasy. Next up for us after Paris, Dinosaur city!
This weekend we hope to get our Christmas tree. Since it is all about delivery here in London I am looking to use these guys who show up to deliver our tree in a kilt. Hilarious. I usually feel the need to pick out our own tree but I just might need to have these guys come for the experience (and the photo).
Cheers!

I can't even finish the rest of your post until I comment on this: "She kind of treats him like a little brother so we are working on that part." Does that mean what I think it means??!?!!>!>!
