I finally got myself back on my mat. I'll admit I had gained a few from the delicious pastries that are now a staple of my diet, so there were no more excuses. I found Evolve close-ish to our house- about a 10 minute walk. I went twice this week- might even be three times if this weekend allows for it. I do miss my old studio in Playa Vista but soon I am sure this will feel like home too.

Since
we were sick last week, we had a make-up class to take at our beloved
Maggie and Rose, so we tried Animal Mania Art. Another impressively fun class! M made this cute snake
out of Plasticine and did a little coloring with these cool new Dabbers. Both are musts if your toddler enjoys arts and crafts!

This week tickets went on sale for Kids Week so we grabbed some for The Tiger Who Came to Tea. It is the whole month of August when kids go free to shows with paid adult tickets. We stuck with a show for the 3+ crowd but tickets were available for shows like Matilda, Wicked, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Kinda wish M was old enough to see these fantastic performances. For now we will stick with "the tea-guzzling tiger in this delightful family show; packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos!"

You'd think having really long days would be awesome but I'm not a believer...yet. The sun came up today at the ungodly hour of 4:42 am and will set at 9:21 pm. It takes some getting used to and some serious blackout shades to get zzz's in the early morn around here. At the other end of the day, I've been staying up way too late. I am used to having it get dark and then staying up for a few more hours. When I actually do go to bed at my normal time (10 pm or so), darkness is just settling in. I figure I'll be a believer pretty quickly though once I experience winter- I hear rumors of the sun setting around 4 pm. Good grief!

If you are reading this, leave a comment (or at least every once in a while). I love hearing from my readers (Hi Mom and Dad!). I am really enjoying this new blogging adventure and need to find more time for more posts. There are so many places around here that we've found that I want to tell you about! Having trouble finding the still getting settled/work/mommy/everything else balance.
Happy Weekend!
Cheers!
