Adventures in {Tea} Wonderland

A trip to London certainly requires afternoon tea, so when my brother, Andy, and his girlfriend, Miranda, were visiting we spent an afternoon at the Sanderson Hotel for their Mad Hatter's Tea.
Your choices of Sanderson-Exclusive Tea include blends based on 4 characters- Alice, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit or Mad Hatter.
I went with Alice and it was so lovely I would have loved to purchase some to take some home with me.

The savoury menu was delicious and well presented on theatrical tableware. You can actually purchase the entire tableware set or pieces of it designed by Luna & Curious if you want a memento of your tea or are particularly mad about the funky designs.

The sweet part of the tea was absolutely adorable and almost too cute to eat. It was as yummy as it looked and being a fan of red velvet made the ladybird my favourite although the cookie soldier was a quick second.

This delectable mini flower pot was almost too much for our belly's to handle but I managed to polish it off.
The afternoon tea is set up in the Sanderson's beautiful Japanese inspired courtyard garden which was covered and zipped up with heat lamps that kept us warm and toasty. On a beautiful spring or summer day, I am pretty sure this tea is even more brilliant!

Visiting London soon? Here to book your adventure!
