Five on Friday

ONE

A spontaneous hand grab. A favorite moment this week. Just the two of us on a beautiful, sunny day.

TWO

Our gorgeous new bed frame arrives this weekend and the mattress arrives next week. Davis took his mattress buying very seriously and tested quite a few. I was glad to have him narrow down our 3 final choices from over 25. He is more selective when it comes to our mattress and I'm totally fine with whatever as long as it is not too soft or too hard. My problem sleeping comes from my head not turning off with my constant to do list or how I am going to get Cesar Millan to help us get crazy a$$ Hyde to London.

THREE

We are heading to the theater tomorrow to see this sweet little play with our new friends. Looking forward to grabbing lunch somewhere yummy afterwards.

FOUR

We are lucky to have the choice of two tube stations which are equidistant from our house- South Kensington and Sloane Square. They both have some pretty amazing restaurants, shops, etc. Davis will often stop on his way home for the random item we are in need of. Last night this is what came home. I did not ask for them, but I did not object in eating them.

FIVE

I've started finding myself in some tiny little (ha!) power struggles these last few weeks so I've started reading some recommended books in the hope that I find some useful tip-a-roos. M is super persistent, independent and likes things done her way. I know M does not have a hidden agenda against me and it's just her 2 year old self figuring out the world, but after a long day bath time ain't always pretty.
